We are seeking an experienced and certified Audio-Visual (AV) Technician with expertise in Crestron control systems. This is a 1099 independent contractor role supporting high-end corporate events and meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot audio, video, lighting, control and presentation equipment/systems
- Program and configure Crestron control processors and touch panels
- Conduct pre-event testing to ensure all AV and control systems are integrated properly
- Provide technical support and make adjustments during live events as needed
- Tear down and properly store AV equipment at the end of events
- Assist with maintaining equipment inventory and performing routine maintenance
- Provide training to clients on operating Crestron systems and other AV technology
Qualifications:
- Certified Crestron programmer or similar control system certification
- Minimum of 3 years AV experience supporting live events and meetings
- Extensive knowledge of professional audio, video, lighting, and presentation technology
- Experience with control system programming/automation (Crestron, AMX, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment up to 75 lbs
- Strong troubleshooting, multitasking and client service skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and travel to event locations
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with a competitive hourly rate paid per event call. Schedule is on an as-needed basis, averaging 20-30 hours per week.
