We seek a skilled Low-Voltage Cabling Technician with BICSI certification or equivalent work experience to join our team on a 1099 basis. In this role, you will be able to install, maintain, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling systems in diverse commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of industry standards and best practices and the ability to work independently and deliver top-notch results.
Responsibilities:
– Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling, including voice, data, and video cables
– Troubleshoot and repair cabling and connectivity issues
– Follow industry standards for cabling installation and maintenance
– Complete work orders and projects within specified timelines
– Provide excellent customer service and communication throughout the installation process
Requirements:
– BICSI certification or equivalent work experience
– Proven experience in installing and terminating copper and fiber optic cabling
– Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for low-voltage cabling
– Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
